Partnership, Collaborations, and Initiatives

The Global Food Institute at the George Washington University—founded by chef, author, and humanitarian José Andrés—is inspired by the growing community of friends, foundations, companies, and organizations who believe in the power of food to create a better world. We are deeply grateful to our partners and  supporters for joining us on the journey to to transform lives and communities through food.

GFI believes in the inherent power of actors within the food system, when working together, to change it for the better. We have been building partnerships that will enrich GW, expand our collective perspectives and amplify our work at the local and global level. These connections will help ground our teaching, research and work in the areas most in need of academic engagement to help advance critical solutions to the challenges facing our food systems
and people in need.
