Local Leaders Shaping the Food System in Wards 7 & 8
The Connecting Food Systems to Health Equity project brings together ten residents and public servant leaders from Wards 7 and 8 as part of a Community Advisory Board (CAB). These members were chosen because they are true change agents who already go above and beyond for their neighborhoods. By joining forces, they’ve built a powerful new network to share resources and amplify their impact across the community.
CAB Spotlight Series
Through this series, we share members' personal stories and highlight how they use their expertise to build a fairer food system for their neighbors.
Get to know CAB members Cinquan Umar Muhammad, Dana Simpson, and Tamisa Brooks.
